To our members and guests regarding FWMSH spring and summer field trip traffic:
At FWMSH, spring and summer time brings many school field trips and day care visits. When planning your visit to FWMSH during these times, please keep in mind that there can be as many as 2,000 school age children at the FWMSH any given day.
Most groups arrive at FWMSH at 10:00am and depart by 2:00pm. Thank you for your patronage while we educate the scientists of tomorrow.

The Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is open daily, except Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day,
Please note, the Museum of Science and History, in an effort to offer quality and diverse exhibitions for our community, often leases exhibitions from other institutions. These leased exhibitions occasionally have contractually binding policies to protect the artifacts on display. A few examples include the following:
No photography for all or a portion of the exhibit
Areas of an exhibit that may not accommodate strollers
For the safety of all guests, strollers and car seats are not permitted in the Omni Theater. Free stroller parking is available by the Omni box office just before entering the Theater.
Areas of an exhibit wherein access may be limited to a finite number of visitors at any given time
In any of these instances, signage or Museum team members will be on hand to offer instruction and clarification as required.
