There is something for everyone at the Museum, from our exhibitions to Innovation Studios and Gallery, The Fort Worth Children’s Museum Gallery, Noble Planetarium and the Omni Theater.  The Cattle Raisers Museum and the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame join us in providing a safe, accessible and flexible experience for you and your students.

What we need to know:

  • OMNI Field Trips:  date preference, time preference (10:30, 11:30, 12:30) and film preference

  • Exhibit Field Trips:  date preference

  • Planetarium Field Trips:  date preference, show  preference, time preference (10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00)

  • Point person’s name, contact information

  • School name, complete address and phone number

  • Number of students, grade level, any special needs

What you need to know:

  • Required Chaperones:  admitted free

    PreK-K:  1 adult/6 students; Grades 1-12:  1 adult/10 students

  • Additional adults:  Group services will provide pricing

  • All students must be accompanied by an adult at all times

  • You will receive a reservation confirmation in an email.

To Reserve:

  • In order to receive group pricing, your group of 15 or more must make a reservation at least two weeks in advance

Just a reminder:

  • All exhibition and film dates and times are subject to change.  

  • Membership benefits and coupons may not be used for school visits.

  • You may picnic on the grassy areas around the Museum for lunch. Please store your lunches on the bus. We do not have any lunch storage on-site.

A minimum of 15 is required for group rates. Call our Group Services Department between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 817-255-9440. Our helpful staff will advise you of available show times and suggest the best programs and combinations for your group. We’ll make you look like a genius!

Enjoy sandwiches, pizza, pasta, gourmet hamburgers, regional favorites and menu items just for kids in the spacious Stars Café.

Fun Fact
The Museum's Noble Planetarium was the first planetarium to be named after a female astronomer, Charlie Mary Noble, a Fort Worth educator of math and astronomy.
