The Museum is considering an IMAX film for the Omni Theater, and we want your opinion! You are invited to attend a survey screening for Journey to the South Pacific. The screening is free; your only obligation is to complete a short survey at the conclusion of the film.  

Seating is available on a first-come, first served basis. ADVANCE  RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. Guests must be at least 10 years of age.

Film Summary:
Narrated by Cate Blanchett, Journey to the South Pacific will take moviegoers on a breathtaking adventure to the lush tropical islands of remote West Papua, where life flourishes above and below the sea. Join Jawi, a young island boy, as he takes us on a journey of discovery to this magical place where we encounter whale sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, and other iconic creatures of the sea. Home to more than 2,000 species of sea life, this exotic locale features the most diverse marine ecosystem on earth. An uplifting story of hope and celebration, Journey to the South Pacific highlights the importance of living in balance with the ocean planet we all call home.

PARKING INFORMATION

The Museum Members park for free in the Museum Lot.  The Museum Lot is located just south of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and to the west of the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.  Best access is via Harley Avenue.  Please have your valid Membership card with you to receive this benefit*.  Thank you again for your continued support!

*Please note that the FREE parking is on a first come, first served basis and does not apply to other lots in the Will Rogers/Cultural District.  Membership does not guarantee an available, free parking space.  Parking is limited.

Please note that the parking lots surrounding the theater are paid lots managed by the city. We are unable to validate parking.


Fun Fact
The rolling loop projector--the heart of the IMAX film system--was invented in the 1960's by Ron Jones, a machinist and camera builder from Brisbane, Australia.
