APRIL SHOWERS BRING MAY FLOWERS!

April ushers in more than blooming wildflowers. Bees and butterflies begin to gather nectar from the first flowers of the season. Animals emerge from their sleepy hibernation. Birds return north or settle down to have families. The classroom is also abuzz with activity. Why not celebrate your blossoming students with some extraordinary end-of-the-year programs!

FOLLOW OUR PROGRESS!
Follow construction progress on our live webcam as our new Museum facility begins to take shape. Checking the webcam weekly or even daily lets you tap into your students’ observation skills. See what changes they uncover through their observations and strengthen their communication skills as they discuss what they have observed. Check out the webcam and learn all about our future plans.

BOB IS SAFE! READ ALL ABOUT IT.
Earlier this month, Bob, the Museum’s snapping turtle, was rescued from the construction site after having been missing since September when construction began. Watch Bob's rescue video on our website and become one of Bob's friends on his MySpace Page. Or send Bob an e-mail to bob@fwmsh.org. This could be a great creative writing experience for your students. If you’re looking for a good research project, snapping turtles can fill that bill, too!
